中考英语任务型阅读练习（一）
任务型阅读
Once a circle(圆圈) lost its piece of itself. The circle wanted to be whole again， so it went around looking for its missing piece. But because it was incomplete， it could only roll(滚动) very slowly. It enjoyed the flowers and the sunshine along the way . ① It found lots of different pieces but of them fit(适合)，so it left them all by the side of the road and kept on for the missing piece.
In the end the circle found a piece that fit perfectly .It put the missing piece into itself. It could be whole again ! Nothing was missing. It was so happy and began to roll away. ②Now it was a perfect circle， it could roll very fast， ③ 但它滚得太快了而无法欣赏美丽的鲜花。It realized how different the world was when it rolled so quickly . It felt so sad that it stopped， left its found piece by the side of the road and rolled away slowly.
Sometimes， I think ， life is like this. Perfect and incomplete is relative(相对的) ， maybe we are more whole when we are missing something.
